This 3D flour-based paint is best made fresh every time you want to use it.
You will need:
• Baking Powder
• Food Color or Liquid Watercolors
• Clothespins and Cotton Balls
• Pieces of cardboard, cut into sizes that will fit inside the microwave
• Muffin Tin or Small Bowls
Mix colors separately in the muffin tin or small bowls. For each color, mix:
Use clothespins clipped on cotton balls for brush work.
For a fun alternative, paint can be squeezed onto the cardboard:
Mix equal amounts of flour, salt, and water in a blender or large measuring cup . Experiment with the amount of baking powder you add.
Pour the mixture into squeeze bottles (empty ketchup or shampoo bottles work well). Add color to each bottle and shake to mix color through.
Place completed paintings in the microwave. Cook them for twenty (00:20) seconds. If the paint is still wet, heat it for ten (00:10) more seconds at a time until it is set.
